This virtual cooking class, led by professional chefs is interactive and fun to do, and you will also get to learn cooking a new dish. The chef will take you on a fun-filled virtual journey of a classic Italian style salad and delicious pizzas! All you have to do after that is tune in and get ready to play, learn, and party.

Please sign into the Zoom app five minutes prior to the beginning of the session


Please have the following ingredients ready before joining the session:


12-inch pizzas (enough for three) 

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast 
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce of fresh tomatoes
  • 16 oz Mozzarella cheese Fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • desired toppings are optional


Italian Salad

  • lettuce
  • tomatoes
  • cucumber
  • red onion
  • salami
  • shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped shallots
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper


Utensils needed:

  • rolling pin
  • mixing bowl
  • pizza stone or thick sheet pan

Self Up

Joe started in the culinary arts profession in 1985 upon completing a chef training program in Massachusetts. For seven years he served as a saucier at the prestigious Caesars Palace's French restaurant. He also held the title of Chef de Cuisine with Andres French restaurant in Las Vegas Nevada for three years. His knowledge and experience have also led him to pursue other areas in the field, as a consultant in the opening of three new restaurants and as a cooking instructor for Williams Sonoma. He is also Serve Save Certified with the state of Massachusetts.
